Pupil Progress & Destinations

At Highfield, every student has an EHCP and therefor an IEP (Individual Education Plan).

As part of our ongoing Assessment cycle IEP’s are evaluated and updated 3 times a year (October, February and June).
Please find below the data analysis from the most recent evaluation period.
This is based on the individual targets rather than individual pupils.
On average each student will have 5 IEP targets.
The data that is shared in October does not include Year 7 IEP analysis.
During their first half term , Year 7’s are undergoing baseline assessments across all areas of the curriculum. Their EHCP is held within the first term to ensure that school and families are working together. Also, that EHCP outcomes are representative of the pupil’s starting points and the broad curriculum that Highfield offers.
For Year 7 students, their first IEP will be written by the class teacher within 2 weeks of their EHCP meeting.
